The 12 Days of Christmas Workout

Click the the tiny arrow or the words above to hear the song!

As you know next week starts the two week break for boot camp and it saddens us to think of the horrible possibility of you little boot campers taking the opportunity to sit on your rumps for two whole weeks. So in the spirit of the Season we came up with a little boot camp torture for you tied up with a cute little bow slapped on top. Don’t let the “cuteness” of the whole thing fool you. We actually intend for you to do this!

So between Dec 19th – Jan 3rd you have 16 days. Some of those days are Holidays and some of those days you’ll be hiking or running with us (hopefully) so that leaves you just enough time to squeeze in the following 12 days of workouts:

Here’s how to do the workout:

Day one you would do just the mile run

Day two you would do the mile run and then two tuck jumps (yes, it’s a stacker!)

Day three you would do your mile run, two tuck jumps and then the martix three times (all the way through) O.M.G.! (You see where this is going?)

Day four you would do the run, tuck jumps, the matrix 3 times through and 4 one arm get ups (don’t forget to alternate arms!

And so on, until you get to the twelfth day….. It’s a challenge that we hope you will take! If you need any clarification on the exercises just ask at camp and we’ll get you up to speed. Have fun! Oh and Happy Holidays! (Ha, Ha, Ha…. I mean… Ho, Ho, Ho!) …. Tell us what you think at the bottom of this page!

Finally, a Christmas song that inspires me to get moving, and drink a fruit and veggie smoothie rather than eat a piece of pie. Nice work!
